Elisa Longo Borghini has had a remarkable career since turning professional in 2011. With victories in prestigious races such as the Giro d’Italia Women, the Tour of Flanders, Strade Bianche, and Paris-Roubaix Femmes, her prowess on the bike is well recognized. Recently returning from the UCI Road World Championships in Zurich with two bronze medals, she is poised to target major races, including the Giro d’Italia Women and the Tour de France Femmes in 2025.

“I’m delighted to join UAE Team ADQ,” Longo Borghini stated. “The team’s ambition and growth align perfectly with my goals. I aim to defend my Giro d’Italia title and contend for victories in the Tour de France and the Ardennes. I also hope to inspire women in the UAE to embrace cycling and be part of a supportive community that promotes a healthy lifestyle.”

Brodie Chapman, who has built a reputation as one of the most dedicated riders in the peloton, expressed her excitement about joining the team. “UAE Team ADQ is a rising force in women’s cycling. I am eager to contribute to the spirit of comradery within the team, reinforcing the notion that our success is intertwined,”

“I’m thrilled to be part of it. Elisa’s presence is a significant factor in my decision, as we have a strong racing relationship.” Chapman concluded.

Chapman’s arrival adds depth to the team, complementing Longo Borghini’s experience. A former national road champion, Chapman played a crucial role in Longo Borghini’s recent successes and is eager to contribute further to the team’s ambitions.

In addition to these notable signings, UAE Team ADQ is pleased to announce that Karlijn Swinkels has extended her contract until the end of 2026. Swinkels, who has made a significant impact since joining the team in 2024, recently secured victory at the St Feuillien Grand Prix de Wallonie and has consistently performed well in various races.

“I believe I made the right choice in joining UAE Team ADQ,” Swinkels said. “The environment and respect within the team have reignited my passion for racing. I’m excited about our growth together, especially with the addition of Elisa.”

Our journey is just beginning, and with this strong team dynamic, we are ready to make a lasting impact in the cycling world.”

As UAE Team ADQ prepares for the 2025 season, the focus remains on building a strong foundation for success while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
